Originally established in 1897 as the affiliated primary school of Nanyang Public School in Shanghai, the institution relocated to Xi’an in 1957 alongside the main body of Xi’an Jiaotong University, becoming the Xi’an Jiaotong University Affiliated Primary School. Recognized as a key primary school in Shaanxi Province and Beilin District, it operates under public administration. In addition to the main campus, the Jiaotong University primary school system includes multiple branches, such as the South Campus. The school has seven first-grade classes, each with approximately 55 students.
