This tour focuses on Shanghai's traditional roots and cultural evolution. It takes you through the ancient city walls area, classical gardens, religious sites, and a renovated Shikumen (stone-gate) neighborhood, showing the depth of local history and lifestyle.

Morning: Start in Shanghai's Old Town. Visit the City God Temple (Chenghuangmiao) to experience traditional religious culture. Wander the surrounding market for traditional handicrafts and snacks. Enter Yu Garden to appreciate the delicate Jiangnan garden architecture, including the Nine-Zigzag Bridge and Huxin Pavilion.
Afternoon: Enjoy a traditional Shanghainese lunch (included). In the afternoon, visit Xintiandi. Explore the well-preserved Shikumen houses—traditional lane residences blended with modern shops, cafes, and galleries. Visit the Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China (located in Xintiandi) to learn about modern history. Stroll through the pedestrian streets and experience the elegant blend of old and new Shanghai.
Evening (Optional): Dine at a trendy restaurant in Xintiandi (not included) and enjoy the evening ambiance of the restored historic district.

We will use business MPV to luxurious coaches and Buses. High-speed trains, flights and other transportation vehicles will be used according to the neccessity of the tours.

All the hotels we selected are 4-5 star well-located in the city center with good and proper breakfast for our general travel and business clients. According to the itinerary requirements for study tours in China or venue needs for winter and summer international camps, we will arrange student dormitories on campus or hotels on campus or nearby.
