This essential day tour covers Shanghai's most iconic landmarks. It connects the historic European-style Bund, the classical Chinese Yu Garden, and the futuristic Pudong skyline, giving you a complete picture of Shanghai's past, present, and future.

Morning: Meet your guide and start at The Bund. Stroll along the waterfront, view the historic “International Architecture Exhibition Group,” and learn about Shanghai's colonial history. Cross the Waibaidu Bridge for classic photo opportunities. Then visit Yu Garden, a 400-year-old classical Jiangnan garden. Explore the beautiful pavilions, ponds, rockeries, and the famous “Yulinglong” scholar's rock.
Afternoon: Have lunch at a traditional Shanghai restaurant near Yu Garden (included), tasting local snacks like xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) and shengjian (pan-fried buns). Take the 2-yuan ferry across the Huangpu River to Pudong. Walk on the Lujiazui Ring Bridge to view the “Three Towers” (Oriental Pearl, Jinmao Tower, Shanghai Tower). Visit the Oriental Pearl Tower or enjoy the skyline from the outdoor viewing platform.
Evening (Optional): Return to The Bund to see the illuminated night view, then stroll along Nanjing Road for shopping and snacks (not included).

According to the itinerary requirements for study tours in China or venue needs for winter and summer international camps, we will arrange student dormitories on campus or hotels on campus or nearby.
