We traveled as a family of four through Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai in May, and LinkedTours handled everything from the visa paperwork to the last airport transfer. What stood out was the planning: our itinerary arrived weeks before departure with train times, hotel names and daily walking distances already worked out, and when the airline moved one of our flights, they rebooked the transfer and re-timed that day without any prompting from us.
Joyce, our guide in Xi'an, was the highlight of the trip. Her English is excellent and she tells the story of the Terracotta Warriors and the city wall with real depth, at a pace our two teenagers could follow. In Beijing our guide had us through the Forbidden City before the tour groups arrived, and in Shanghai we were given a genuinely useful restaurant list instead of a generic brochure.
The cars were clean and comfortable and the drivers were punctual every single morning. The payment card they set up for us meant we could pay for everything with a phone, and meals were adjusted for our daughter's vegetarian days after one message.
No complaints at all, and we have already recommended LinkedTours to two other families.
