Overview

An executive off-site day at the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, about 70 km north of Beijing. The programme uses the wall to talk about supply lines, maintenance, resilience and long-horizon planning - themes that survive the journey home better as a walk than as a slide deck. Cable car and toboggan make it workable for mixed fitness levels.

Highlights

  • Mutianyu, one of the best-preserved stretches of the Great Wall
  • Guided discussion of the wall as a supply-chain and defence system
  • Optional team exercise along the ramparts with debrief
  • Cable car and toboggan options for mixed fitness levels
  • Lunch at a country restaurant below the wall
  • Private vehicle, guide and programme coordination
