Guilin Educational Tours
The karst around Guilin is one of the clearest natural laboratories in China. Students can measure limestone dissolution and river sedimentation directly on the banks, work out why the towers take the shapes they do, and see the result in the caves below. A second programme climbs the Longji rice terraces, where Zhuang and Yao villages have farmed vertical slopes for six centuries, to study terrace agriculture and water management.
A two-day Li River programme adds ecology and birdwatching with a farm stay. Field notebooks and English-speaking academic guides are included.
