Guangzhou Educational Tours
Guangzhou is a good place to study trade because it has been doing it for two thousand years. Student programmes cover the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the Chen Clan Academy and the Guangdong Museum as a single day; a two-day city history and provincial museums strand; and a two-day programme on Cantonese craft and the maritime trade, which follows the route that made the city rich from the Tang dynasty onwards.
Each day is written to a learning outcome with worksheets and a debrief. Groups of 16, 20 or 30 students travel with two accompanying teachers free of charge.
