This is a 7-day business programme across the Greater Bay Area, built for buyers, importers and trade delegations who are in China to see factories, compare suppliers and understand how the region's manufacturing and technology base fits together. Four days run out of Guangzhou - arrival and city orientation, two days at the China Import and Export Fair at the Pazhou complex, and a day of factory and supply-chain visits - followed by two days in Shenzhen covering the Huaqiangbei electronics market, a technology company visit and the Qianhai Cooperation Zone. An English-speaking business guide and a private vehicle run throughout.
The scale is worth stating plainly. The Canton Fair, first held in 1957 and now staged twice a year, runs across three phases and in recent sessions has drawn more than 289,000 overseas buyers from 219 countries and regions to roughly 31,000 exhibitors across about 1.55 million square metres. The autumn 2026 session, the 138th, runs from 15 October to 4 November, with phase one covering advanced manufacturing, consumer electronics, new energy vehicles and machinery from 15 to 19 October. Getting the phase right matters more than getting the city right, which is why we build the days around the sectors you actually source in.
Guangzhou and Shenzhen are about 40 minutes apart by high-speed rail, so the two cities work as a single sourcing base rather than two separate trips.
What do we need to attend the Canton Fair?
An overseas buyer badge, which is free. It is applied for online in advance or on site with your passport, business card and a recent photograph. We handle the pre-registration and can arrange a M visa invitation letter if you need one, and we build in attendance at the registration desk on arrival day.
Can this run outside the Canton Fair dates?
Yes. The two fair days are replaced with private sourcing days at the Pazhou complex, the Guangzhou wholesale markets and additional factory visits, at the same price.
How many factory visits can we fit in?
Day four is built as a full factory and supply-chain day. Additional company meetings can be added in Guangzhou or Shenzhen provided we have at least three weeks' notice to confirm them, and we confirm each visit against your product category before the programme is fixed.
Do we need a visa for business travel?
Possibly not. Several nationalities, including Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia, hold unilateral visa-free entry for up to 30 days until 31 December 2026, and the 240-hour visa-free transit policy permits business activities for eligible nationalities. United States passport holders should plan on either the transit policy or a regular M visa. Check your nationality against the current National Immigration Administration list and we will supply the invitation documents.
Is the price the same for 10 or 30 delegates?
No. The per-person price falls steeply as the group grows, and from the 10-delegate tier we include one free delegation leader and one free escort.

Canton Fair timing. The autumn 2026 session (138th) runs from 15 October to 4 November, in three phases: 15-19 October for advanced manufacturing, consumer electronics, new energy vehicles and machinery; 23-27 October for houseware, gifts and building materials; and 31 October to 4 November for textiles, clothing, medical products and food. Guangzhou hotel capacity is genuinely tight in fair weeks, so confirm dates early. Outside the fair windows the two fair days become private sourcing days at the Pazhou complex and the Guangzhou wholesale markets.
Buyer badge and access. Every overseas visitor needs a buyer badge, applied for online in advance or on site with passport, business card and a recent photograph. Pre-registration avoids the longest queues. We collect the badge with you on arrival day.
Visa and letters. Much of the world now travels to China for business without a visa: Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and most Schengen states hold unilateral visa-free entry for up to 30 days until 31 December 2026, and the 240-hour visa-free transit policy permits business activities for 57 nationalities. United States passport holders should plan for either the transit policy or a regular M visa. We issue the invitation letter and confirmed itinerary your application needs.
Language and documentation. Business in Guangzhou and Shenzhen is routinely conducted in English at management level and rarely in English at factory-floor or market-stall level, so technical translators can be added for specific supplier meetings. We recommend bringing product specifications and drawings in writing.
Payment and receipts. Deposits are settled by bank transfer against a formal invoice, with the balance due 30 days before arrival, and we can invoice a named corporate entity for expense reporting.
