Leave the busy city center behind and step into the peaceful world of Beijing hutongs. This tour focuses on authentic local life, traditional architecture, and folk customs. You will walk through ancient alleyways, visit a siheyuan courtyard, taste authentic snacks, and experience the daily life of Beijingers.

Morning: Meet your guide at Nanluoguxiang, a famous hutong area. Start your walking tour through the narrow hutong lanes, admiring the traditional courtyard houses (siheyuan) and old buildings. Visit a local family's siheyuan, chat with the residents, and learn about their daily life and the history of hutongs. Experience a simple paper-cutting activity with a local craftsman, creating a small souvenir to take home. Stop at a local snack shop to try traditional Beijing snacks like jianbing (Chinese crepe) and douzhi (soybean milk).
Afternoon: Have a light lunch at a local restaurant in the hutong area (included). In the afternoon, visit Shichahai Lake, which is surrounded by more hutongs. Take a rickshaw ride (optional) around the lake and the nearby hutongs, enjoying the quiet and beautiful scenery. Visit a traditional tea house, experience an authentic Chinese tea ceremony, and learn about different types of Chinese tea and tea culture from the tea master. Explore Houhai Bar Street (optional) to see how old hutongs blend with modern nightlife.
Evening (Optional): Dine at a local hot pot restaurant near Shichahai (not included) to experience authentic Beijing cuisine, then take a walk along the lake at night to enjoy the peaceful and romantic atmosphere before returning to your hotel.

We will use business MPV to luxurious coaches and Buses. High-speed trains, flights and other transportation vehicles will be used according to the neccessity of the tours.

All the hotels we selected are 4-5 star well-located in the city center with good and proper breakfast for our general travel and business clients. According to the itinerary requirements for study tours in China or venue needs for winter and summer international camps, we will arrange student dormitories on campus or hotels on campus or nearby.
