A private half-day at Ocean Park, which occupies a headland on the south side of Hong Kong Island and is split into a waterfront area and a summit area joined by a cable car over the ridge and a funicular through the hill. The waterfront side has the giant panda enclosure and the big aquarium; the summit has the rides. Your guide gets you in, explains the layout, and then leaves you to work through it.
Admission and private transfers are included; food inside the park is not. If you would rather keep it short, your guide will suggest a route that does the animals and the cable car and skips the rides. Attractions and show times change through the year, so what is running is confirmed on the day.
Morning — Arrival at Ocean Park
Ocean Park sits on a headland on the south side of Hong Kong Island and is split between a low waterfront area and a summit area, linked by a cable car over the ridge and by a funicular that runs through a tunnel inside the hill. Your guide takes you in, explains the layout and the day's timing, and then lets you work through the park; admission is included, meals inside the park are not.
Cultural Insight
The park opened in the 1970s with public money rather than private capital, and part of its remit has always been conservation and education alongside the rides — the giant panda enclosure and the marine-mammal facilities are the clearest expression of that.
Midday — The animals and the summit
The waterfront side holds the giant panda enclosure and the large aquarium, with its reef tank and its rays and sharks. The cable car up to the summit gives the view south over the islands, and the summit itself carries the thrill rides, including a floorless coaster and a spinning ride built out over the slope. The two halves of the park are a full half-day between them; if you would rather keep it short, your guide will suggest a route that does the animals and the cable car and skips the rides.
Early afternoon — Departure
Meet at the arranged time and transfer back to your hotel. Attraction line-ups and show times change through the year; your guide confirms what is running on the day.
Meals
No meals are included; food is available inside the park at your own expense.

Please read the notes below before you book. They cover entry formalities, pace, weather and what to bring.
Q: Is this tour private or shared?
A: It is a private tour. Only your own party travels with the guide and vehicle, so the pace and the order of stops can be adjusted on the day.
Q: What is the best season for this itinerary?
A: April to June and September to November bring the mildest weather and clearest light. The programme runs year round, and we adjust the daily timings in mid-summer and winter.
Q: Can you handle dietary requirements and accessibility needs?
A: Yes. Vegetarian, halal, gluten-free and allergy-aware menus are arranged when you tell us in advance. Step-free and low-mobility versions of the route can also be planned.
Q: How do we book and pay?
A: Send us your travel dates and group size for a same-day quotation. A deposit confirms the booking, the balance is due before arrival, and prices are guaranteed for 7 days.
